Stop Motion Animation
Stop motion involves a lot more than just the animation: planning, designing, materials... I know every step involved in the production of an animated piece and I can create stop motion animation from concept to execution. Depending on each project and its characteristics, of course, I might need the help of other stop motion professionals to be able to bring an idea to reality.
Character Design All shapes and sizes considered to try and get the appeling character that the story needs.
Storyboard The base of all the process, geting the action right, the framing and editing before grabing some tools and start building.
Puppet Making Building characters from the inside out trying to find the balance between design and animation.
Set Building Creating enviroments for the action to take place and exploring materials and textures to find the right look.
Animation Whereas is puppet animation, pixilation with real objects or cut out, I love to create movement that catches the eye.
Editing & Postproduction Rig removal, green screen keying and some other tools to hide the tricks used during the animation.
Teaching
Since 2023 I had the opportunity to teach stop motion animation to all kinds of people, from animation students to children having their first experience with stop motion.
